On slab-on-grade homes the concrete is rarely flat enough or dry enough to receive hardwood as-is. We grind high spots, fill and self-level low spots to flatness tolerance, and confirm the slab’s moisture with ASTM F2170 probes before installing.

This is the invisible work that prevents hollow spots, squeaks, and moisture failures down the line.
