The Gulf Coast studio of Arpa Flooring Design — an established New York City & New Jersey hardwood flooring company.

Arpa Flooring Design built its name installing premium hardwood in some of Manhattan’s most demanding addresses — a portfolio of 50+ luxury buildings where the work has to be flawless and the standard never slips. Arpa Flooring brings that same team and that same standard to Florida’s west coast.

We’re not a new company learning the trade in a new market. We’re craftsmen with 20+ years installing and finishing hardwood floors, NWFA members and Bona Certified Craftsmen, recognized by Hardwood Floors Magazine’s 40 Under 40 — now applying decades of craft to the specific realities of Gulf Coast homes.

Why Florida is different

Almost every home here sits on a concrete slab, humidity runs high most of the year, and many houses sit empty and closed up through the off-season. Those conditions punish floors that were installed the way they’d be up north. So we lead every project with slab moisture testing (ASTM F2170), the right vapor control, and engineered assemblies built to stay flat and tight in this climate. It’s the difference between a floor that lasts and one that cups its first summer.
