Herringbone is one of the patterns Arpa is known for. Each piece meets the next at a precise angle, so the layout has to be set out perfectly from the center of the room — there is no hiding a drift of even a millimeter across a large floor.

On the Gulf Coast we run herringbone in engineered format over prepared slabs, which keeps the tight joints looking crisp through seasonal humidity changes.
